Shawn Marion had 19 points, Quentin Richardson added 17, and Steve Nash had 15 points and 11 assists for Phoenix, 5-1 on its a six-game trip. Wally Szczerbiak scored 16 points for Minnesota. Kevin Garnett scored a season-low 12 points and had 13 rebounds.

NEW ORLEANS -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points on an off-shooting night, and Jerry Stackhouse added 19 points to lead Dallas. Dan Dickau led the Hornets with 18 points.
