ICL/TCL Sebring win clinches tie for TCL title

Joe James scored 18 and Jesse James added 13 in a victory against United.
SEBRING -- Joe James tossed in 18 points, while Jesse James made four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, to lead Sebring High's boys basketball team to a 69-35 victory over United on Tuesday night.
Dan Scarpitti added 12 points for the Trojans (15-1, 11-0), who clinched at least a tie for the Tri-County League championship.
Bubba Taylor finished with team-highs of 11 points and six rebounds for United (10-5, 7-4).
Sebring led 35-14 at halftime.
Lisbon 62, Leetonia 43
LISBON -- The Blue Devils jumped out to a 21-8 first-quarter lead in a TCL game.
Marcus Judy scored a game-high 30 points for Lisbon (12-4, 8-3) and had 10 assists.
Tim McClester added eight points, five rebounds and three steals. Dom DeFilippo also finished with eight points for Lisbon.
Leetonia (2-14, 0-11) was led by Ryan Weikart, who scored 11 points, and Corey Creamer, who added 10.
Southern 52, Crestview 49
NEW WATERFORD -- Josh Diaz scored 27 points, and made 7-of-10 at the foul line, to lead Southern.
Aaron Blatch added 14 points for the Indians (9-8, 5-6 TCL).
Crestview (3-14, 2-9) was led by Anthony Amabile's 14 points. Andy Walton added 12 points and six rebounds, and Jordan Reynolds scored 13 points.
East Palestine 57, Columbiana 44
EAST PALESTINE -- Brett Young scored 24 points to lead East Palestine.
Jake Harvey added nine points for the Bulldogs (4-13, 4-7 TCL), while Joe Thompson scored eight.
Young also had nine assists, while Dan Hanolt had 10 rebounds.
Columbiana (10-6, 7-4) was led by Eric Ostrander and Dave Vitko, with 11 points each.
Mineral Ridge 51, Springfield 41
MINERAL RIDGE -- Vance Kiersey scored 24 points to lead Mineral Ridge.
Micah Hall added 11 points for the Rams (9-8, 4-5 ICL), who led 18-10 after one quarter. Wade Campbell had six rebounds and three assists for Mineral Ridge.
Mason McCambridge and Dane Dobson scored 11 points apiece for Springfield (10-5, 6-3).
Jackson-Milton 68, South Range 52
NORTH JACKSON -- Mark Balent poured in 37 points to lead Jackson-Milton in an ICL game.
Nick Kaley added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Bluejays (6-11, 2-7 ICL), who trailed 25-20 at halftime but outscored South Range 48-27 in the second half.
Andrew Whitmer had nine assists for Jackson-Milton.
Mike Leskosky and Dave Rach scored 18 points apiece to lead the Raiders (5-9, 2-7).
McDonald 59, Western Reserve 44
