BROOKFIELD -- Raquel Brenner scored 22 points and added five assists, leading Brookfield High to a 62-29 victory over Hubbard in a Trumbull Athletic Conference girls basketball game on Monday night.
Morgan Bonekovic added 17 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocked shots for the Warriors (12-5, 8-3 TAC). Jacki Rust finished with 11 points for Brookfield, which led 28-18 at halftime.
Hubbard (4-12, 3-8) was led by Callie Oyler, with 12 points.
Newton Falls 34, Liberty 22
LIBERTY -- Molly Lenarcic was the only player in double figures, finishing with 10 points, as Newton Falls won a low-scoring TAC game.
The Tigers (3-14, 2-9 TAC) trailed 12-10 at the intermission but outscored Liberty 15-5 in the third quarter.
Michelle Dykes scored seven points to lead Liberty (6-11, 2-9).
Southington 43, Badger 36, OT
KINSMAN -- Dottie Plock made consecutive steals that she converted into layups, leading Southington High to a 43-36 overtime victory over Badger in a Northeastern Athletic Conference game.
The score was tied at 33 at the end of regulation.
Plock finished with 13 points for the Tigers (8-7, 6-5 NAC). Brittany Gillium scored 17 points and Nicole Ullinsky added 10.
Shannon Sudon and Samantha Bonar scored nine points each for Badger (7-10, 5-6).
Mathews 74, Lordstown 21
LORDSTOWN -- Tara Ford scored 23 points to lead Mathews.
Melanie Roscoe added 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Mustangs (15-2, 9-2 NAC). Melissa Morrison had 10 points and five assists, and Emily Cleland finished with 10 points.
Lordstown (3-14, 2-9) was led by Jennifer Bennett and DeBon Davis, with seven points each.
