Musician's illness leads to cancellation of Journey concert

Published: Wed, August 31, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

PITTSBURGH -- A band member's illness has forced the cancellation of the Journey concert scheduled for tonight at the Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square. Refunds are available at the point of purchase, or call TicketMaster customer service at (412) 323-1919.

After a concert in New York on Sunday, band member Jonathan Cain was rushed to a hospital complaining of stomach cramps. After examination, it was determined that he needed to have his appendix removed. Cain successfully underwent an appendectomy and is resting comfortably.
