Boardman stays unbeaten

Lisa Dolasinski led the Spartans to a three-game sweep of Brookfield.

BROOKFIELD -- Lisa Dolasinski had seven kills and three digs as the unbeaten Boardman High volleyball team defeated Brookfield 25-14, 25-22, 25-21 Tuesday.

Courtney Schittavry had nine kills and seven blocks for the Spartans (4-0). Danielle Williams had seven assists.

Morgan Bonekovic led the Warriors (2-2) with two points, 13 kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Courtney Christy had six kills, seven points, nine digs and two blocks. Andrea Gladis had five kills, two points, nine digs and two blocks. JVs: Boardman 25-16, 25-9

Chaney 25-22-25-26,Warren Harding 9-25-23-24

WARREN -- Antaya James had four digs, 12 kills and three aces, and Jacquela Teamor had two aces, 53 assists and three digs for Chaney (1-0) in a Steel Valley Conference match.

For Harding (0-2), Jasmine Stringer had seven points, eight kills, eight assists and five blocks and Krystyn Flangan had three points, 19 assists, one block and three digs. JVs: Chaney 25-20, 15-25, 15-12

Rayen 25-25-16-26,Wilson 20-17-25-24

YOUNGSTOWN -- Rayen (1-2, 1-0 SVC) was led by Kenysha Tennant with 15 points, four aces and three kills. Sarah Block added eight points, while Kera Bentley had nine kills and Nicole Hines had 16 assists.

Wilson is 1-1.

Struthers 25-25-25,Campbell 17-8-9

CAMPBELL -- Jennifer McLaughlin scored nine points to spark the Wildcats (1-1). Dana Varga had seven assists and Jeanette McLaughlin had seven kills.

Heather Hrelec paced the Red Devils (0-1). Victoria Stinemer had two assists.

Howland 25-25-25,Champion 21-15-7

HOWLAND -- Taylor Summerfield scored 15 points, with six aces, six kills, 15 assists and a save for the Tigers (1-0). Cara Rose had 12 points, two aces, eight kills, three blocks and two digs and Katlyn Flick had three points, 11 kills, one assist, one block and three digs.

Chentel Greathouse led the Golden Flashes (0-1) with six points, two aces and 52 assists. Haley York had seven points, two aces, two kills, one assist, four blocks and a dig. Jackie Knepp had three points, two kills and two assists. JVs: Howland 25-18, 25-16

Jackson-Milton 25-25-25,Sebring 22-10-19

NORTH JACKSON -- Megan Whitmer led the BlueJays (1-0) with 20 points. Allison Chepke added 19 points, with four aces, 11 kills and 25 attacks. Rachel Karash had 10 kills, 25 sets and 14 assists.

Tricia Eaton led the Trojans with eight points and two aces. Ashley Amabeli had nine kills, while Briana Jones had 27 sets and 10 assists.

Springfield 25-25-25,Lowellville 9-14-14

SPRINGFIELD -- Brittany Schrieber had 11 points, three aces, six kills and a block to pace the Tigers. Nora McKelvey added 10 points and a block and Meghan McLaughlin had 12 points, with three aces and seven kills.

South Range 25-16-25-25,Western Reserve 17-25-21-20

BERLIN CENTER -- Cara Chizmar led the Raiders (1-2) with five aces, eight kills and four digs. Kaylin McCue had nine kills and three digs.

Rachael Hernan led the Blue Devils (0-1) with 27 points, with four aces, 11 kills and seven digs. Lainey Kekic added nine points, eight kills and three digs. JVs: Western Reserve 18-25, 27-25, 15-7

Columbiana 25-25-25,Southern 5-19-10

COLUMBIANA -- Kristina Davidson collected 11 kills and five points while Kayla Seybert supported the attack with nine points and nine kills.

Also for the Clippers, Brandi Snavely assisted 30 times and scored seven points. For the Indians, Laura Van Dyne led the way with five points, two blocks and a pair of kills.

Crestview 25-25-25,Leetonia 14-22-11

COLUMBIANA -- Tricia Richards had 14 kills , four locks and four digs for the Rebels (1-0). Chelsea Bowker had 10 kills and three blocks.

Jessica Eichler led the Bears (0-1) with six points, two kills and one block. Valerie Goerig and Emily Goerig had five points apiece.

Northwest 25-25-25,West Branch 19-18-20

BELOIT -- Alisha Wartluft and Becky Rinyo scored 13 points apiece to pace the Warriors (2-1) in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference match.

Wartluft had three kills and 10 passes, while Rinyo had 16 assists and eight passes. Rachael Boyce added 10 points, three saves, three kills, 11 passes and four digs.

Samantha McCourt led Northwest (2-1, 1-0) with 26 spikes and 11 kills. JVs: Northwest 25-16, 29-27
