Summary of police activity in Austintown:
Aug. 15
Theft: A Pepsi machine was entered at Carl's Towing, 6704 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1986 Honda was stolen from 60 N. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A total of $80 in change was stolen from 619 N. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Razors were taken from Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A purse with an Ohio license, credit cards, keys and a cell phone were stolen at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A cell phone was stolen from Rite Aid.
Aug. 16
Robbery: An employee was assaulted at Superior Beverage, 425 Victoria Road, and 12 cases of beer were stolen by a suspect in a red Chevrolet Lumina.
Criminal damage: A table was damaged in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Burglary: An Echo leaf blower was stolen from the 2000 block of South Turner Road.
Theft: A Cingular flip cell phone was stolen from the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Attempted burglary: A man fled into a wooded area after an attempted burglary in the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Theft: A 1997 Harley Davidson was stolen from a storage area at EZ Self Storage, 5214 Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal damage: A window, flagpole and window screen were damaged in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Aug. 17
Theft: A total of $55 worth of candy was taken at Sheetz gas station, and police arrested two male suspects.
Theft: A computer was stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Books and clothing were stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: A men's Roadmaster 10-speed bike was stolen from the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damage: Drywall was damaged at Austintown Ambulatory, 45 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Property damage: A vehicle was damaged at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A woman was arrested for theft and also charged with child endangering at Wal-Mart and was taken to county jail.
Burglary: A garage was entered and license plates from a vehicle were stolen in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive.
Auto theft: A 1999 Dodge Intrepid was stolen and a garage door opener was also used in a theft in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive.
Theft: A 400 Caterpillar super truck was stolen from a construction site at 6100 Mahoning Avenue and abandoned in the middle of Mahoning Avenue.
Aug. 18
Breaking and entering, structure: An air-conditioning unit was stolen from Four Seasons Apartments, 4220 New Road.
Vandalism: Numerous vehicles were damaged at Bob and Chuck Eddy's, 4850 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Felonious assault: Police arrested a male suspect and took him to county jail and a woman was taken to Forum Health Northside Medical Center after an incident in the 1000 block of Moorefield Road.
Theft: A purse was stolen at the Gatsby, 54 Westchester Drive.
Aug. 19
Drug offense: Police arrested an Austintown man for drug abuse of cocaine and possession of the drug at North Meridian Road and Interstate 680.
Criminal damage: A section of a front-door glass was broken out at Raccoon Road Beer and Wine, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Two connectors and shut-off valves were stolen, causing the loss of about 4,000 gallons of water in the rear yard at 70 South Main Street.
Theft: The right side door mirror was stolen from a vehicle at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Recovered property: A rear license plate was found in the roadway at State Route 46 and Mahoning Avenue.
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 1993 Cadillac was used without permission and then returned in the 80 block of North Raccoon Road.
Aug. 20
Theft: Miscellaneous items were taken from the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Burglary: Entry was gained through the garage and a 2002 F-250 was taken in the 4000 block of Burgett Lane.
Recovered property: Credit cards belonging to a resident of the 100 block of Westchester Drive were recovered.
Recovered property: Two 18-inch motocross bikes were recovered at Burgett Lane and Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle and a tent were hit with BBs in the 4000 block of East Radio Road.
Theft: An 18-pack of Budweiser beer was stolen at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal mischief: Nails were thrown in a yard and the street in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Edgehill Drive by a man driving in a black Z-28 with Pennsylvania plates.
Criminal damage: A passenger door and window of a vehicle were damaged in the 5000 block of Southwood Drive.
Complaint: Illegal dumping took place 16 times in the 100 block of Shutrump Court.
Auto theft: A 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Recovered property: A 1997 Ford F-150 pickup, stolen from Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road, was recovered by Youngstown police.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the 3000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Aug. 21
Explosive device: A homemade bomb was found in a mailbox in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.
Theft: A total of $56 in gasoline was stolen from the BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A Kodak camera was stolen from the 2000 block of Spring Meadow Circle.
Burglary: A 50-inch Hitachi television was stolen from the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A Nokia cell phone was stolen from a car parked at Wal-Mart.
Vehicle theft: A gold Ford Ranger was stolen at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: A refrigerator and stove were stolen from the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.
Theft: A lawn tractor was taken from the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Tools were taken from the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
