After 2 B & amp;B shows are called off, others will go on as scheduled

Published: Tue, August 23, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

BOARDMAN -- Upcoming concerts at B & amp;B Backstage will proceed as scheduled, the outdoor amphitheater announced Monday.

Two weekend shows -- Julie Roberts on Friday and Jerry Lee Lewis on Saturday -- were called off after the property owner, Tom Komara, had two large construction debris trailers parked in the middle of the seating area. Komara took the action Friday because he had not been receiving rent. The rent dispute will be heard in Mahoning County Court on Sept. 12.

B & amp;B is still trying to reschedule the Jerry Lee Lewis concert, which was to be Saturday.

The next concert at B & amp;B will be Friday by the rock band Blackfoot; Saturday's show by Seether is sold out.
