Line break causes boil -water advisory

Published: Sat, August 20, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

CAMPBELL -- City residents are advised to boil their drinking water until 5 p.m. today due to a low level in a city water tank caused by a break in a 10-inch water main at Wilson Avenue and Robinson Road.

The break, which occurred at 3 a.m. Saturday, took about 15 hours to repair, a water department spokesman said. Whenever the water in a storage tank reaches low levels, residents are urged to boil their drinking water as a precaution, he added.
