XYOUNGSTOWN -- Vows were exchanged by Laura Windt and Jerry Fulmer in the presence of the Rev. D. Gary Schreckengost as they were married at 2:45 p.m. July 16 at the Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens.
A reception was held afterward at the Maronite Center for the daughter of Sharon Windt of Boardman, and the son of Neil and Mary Ann Davis of Mineral Ridge and John and Betty Fulmer of Lordstown. After a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico, they live in Youngstown.
The bodice and hemline of the bride's satin princess-style gown was embossed with floral embroidery, and two-toned piping enhanced the skirt.
Black gowns trimmed in white were worn by Sherry Fulmer, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Sue Butler, Amanda Davis, Sherry Sanchez, Steph Zapka and Chris Windt. Flower girls were Paige Windt and Kaitlin Windt.
Mike Cool was best man, and groomsmen were Brian Butler, Jose Sanchez, Dan Penick, Matt Fulmer and Jason Zapka. Ring bearers were Brian Windt and Blake Windt.
The bride and groom are graduates of the MTC Police Academy in Niles. She is an officer with Johnston Township Police Department in Farmdale and an emergency medical dispatcher with Lane Ambulance in Mineral Ridge, and he is an officer with Youngstown Police Department.
Mrs. Fulmer is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Spanish at Youngstown State University, where her husband graduated with an associate degree in criminal justice.
