DAY IN COURT: Gov. Bob Taft speaks in court after pleading no contest to four counts of ethics violations. His attorney, William Meeks, stands by his side. For failing to report golf outings and other gifts, the two-term Republican and great-grandson of President Taft was fined the maximum, $4,000.
