BASEBALL

Rondinelli Tuxedo of Youngstown Class B League -- is conducting tryouts for fall teams for players ages 14-18. For more information, call Ken Quinn at (330) 770-7157.

Cene Park in Struthers -- will be where Astro Falcons holds tryouts for fall and summer teams today and Sunday. Players ages 13-14 in 2006 will try out from 10-11:30 a.m. and those who will be 15-18 in 2006 will try out from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. If you cannot attend but would still like to be considered, contact: Don Christian at (330) 233-3354 or the Class B Office at (330) 755-3210.

Cene Park in Struthers -- will hold fall and summer baseball tryouts on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. for Youngstown Babe Ruth's Rizer Group (ages 14-15), Little b's Dave Sugar Excavating (ages 15-16) and Big B's Dave Sugar Excavating (ages 16-18). For details, call Terry Dobson at (330) 549-5620.

Livi Steel -- will hold little b and Big B tryouts at Wilder Field in Niles Sunday at 2 p.m.

BOOSTERS

South Range Athletic Booster Club -- will hold its annual booster drive today from noon-4 p.m. Student-athletes will go door to door seeking donations.

COACHING VACANCIES

Bristol High School -- seeks a head boys varsity basketball coach for the 2005-06 season. Those interested should send resumes to Dr. Marty Santillo, Bristol High School, P.O. Box 260, Bristolville, OH, 44402. Deadline is Monday. Previous head coaching experience is preferred. No teaching positions are available.

Struthers High School -- is where football season ticket holders may pick up their tickets beginning Monday between 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Football parking passes and seasonal passes are available. Ticket outlets are Rips Caf & eacute;, LaVilla Sports Bar, Struthers News & amp; Beverage, Transit Tours and the Struthers Federal Credit Union.

GOLF

RUNNING

Champion High School -- will be where the Champion Track/Cross Country Boosters hold their third annual Fun Run today at 10 a.m. Races available are a 5K and a one-mile walk/run. Cost is $12.

SAFETY TRAINING

Mahoning Chapter of the American Red Cross -- will conduct a sports safety training course on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-10 p.m. Cost is $49. To enroll or for more information, call (330) 726-6063.

SOFTBALL
