Extras are being sought this weekend for Director Chris Hvizdak's production of "Taco Taxi," currently filming in the Shenango Valley.
A musical, George Romero-inspired zombie scene will be shot Sunday at the North Sharon Fire Hall, 469 Thornton St., Sharon, Pa. Filming will begin at 1 p.m. Anyone is welcome to volunteer to be an extra.
Zombie makeup and a light lunch will be provided.
Anyone interested should arrive by noon for makeup application, and should wear old clothing, as it will likely be stained.
In Hvizdak's first full-length feature, the worlds of adventure, comedy and horror collide to create an action-packed and unorthodox road trip through a world of corporate domination. Audiences will watch a valiant local restaurateur on his quest to push back the invading evil of a corporate "super-store."
Heavily employing cutting-edge "green screen" and computer animation, the film takes many controversial viewpoints as Hvizdak, a film major at Penn State, crafts an endearing comedic talk.
