Show dog, missing for 4 days, found in woods in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN -- The saga of a lost show dog named Josh is over.
Kathy Gangi of Langley, Wash., found Josh, a corgi, in the dark hours of Tuesday morning -- four days after the dog ran away. Gangi had posted a $500 reward for his safe return on Monday.
Gangi, in town for the Steel Valley Cluster dog show, received phone calls from individuals who saw Josh in a wooded area along state Route 46 in Austintown near the Motel 6 where she had been staying.
Following the tips, she ventured into the woods early Tuesday and eventually found the tan-and-white corgi.
"He was very dirty and pretty frightened, but he's OK," Gangi said.
Gangi and several of her dogs have been touring the country for over three weeks entering dog shows.
"I am so happy to return home with Josh," Gangi said.
Josh ran into a field with his leash dragging from Gangi Friday night after being startled in a parking lot near Starbucks Coffee and Motel 6 on Route 46.
