HOLLY WEIMERLUKE WATTS
XGIRARD -- The wedding of Holly Kristin Weimer, a daughter of Richard and Nancy Weimer, 691 Oakridge Drive, Boardman, and Luke Martin Watts, a son of Martin and Deborah Watts, 545 Churchill Road, took place July 9 at St. Rose Church.
The Rev. Peter Haladej presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas and live at 8029 Salinas Trail, Boardman.
Swarovski crystals and diamantes enhanced the bride's strapless gown of white satin fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, draped waist and curved side split revealing an organza underskirt with crystals.
Amy Wallace of Boardman, cousin of the bride and honor attendant, wore a hot-pink gown, as did the bridesmaids, Tracy Donnelly of Boardman, Jessica Freeze of Columbus and Stephanie Hanrahan of Canfield. Emily Watts, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.
The groom's brother, Matthew Watts of Girard, served as best man, and groomsmen were Scott Weimer of Boardman, the bride's brother; Nicholas Cerimele of Boardman; Jeffrey Kocan of New York, cousin of the groom; and Thomas Morabito of Columbus. Brendan Thoreson of Boardman was ring bearer.
The couple earned bachelor's degrees in early childhood education at Youngstown State University. The bride is a kindergarten teacher with the Boardman Local Schools. The groom is a second-grade teacher at Summit Academy in Youngstown.
