Kimbrough to face off with Fletcher in 10-round bout

Verquan Kimbrough has just wrapped up three consecutive knockout wins.
CHESTER, W. Va. -- Verquan "The Show" Kimbrough (12-0-1) of Aliquippa will battle Sean Fletcher (25-10) of Virginia in a 10-round fight Thursday at Mountaineer Race Track & amp; Gaming Resort.
Both fighters weigh 130 pounds.
Kimbrough is coming off three consecutive knockout wins. He devastated Terrell Hargrove in 33 seconds in December.
In April, Kimbrough overwhelmed Chad Wright in five rounds to capture the I.B.C. America's belt. Kimbrough also was impressive as he defeated Antonio Young with a four-round TKO in Las Vegas.
Also on the six bout card, Roland Cummings of Youngstown (22-22-2) faces George Klinesmith of Bloomingdale (20-9) in a four-round fight.
Mike Clark (34-3), the IBF's No. 10 world-ranked lightweight, will fight Altoona's John Scalzi. Clark is managed by Pat Nelson and Lou Schiavoni of Youngstown.
In other fights, Monty Meza-Clay (15-0) will battle Marty Robbins of Nashville (21-26) while Rob Strauss of Pittsburgh (3-2) will go four rounds against super middleweight Don Shrok of Indiana (0-1). Strauss (2-2) of Bridgeville will make his Mountaineer debut with trainer and former Steeler Craig Wolfley in his corner.
In a female lightweight bout, Leslee "Long Play" Perella (2-1) will try to avenge her defeat when she takes on Ohio's Kelli Cofer (8-3-1).
The fights will be at Mountaineer's Grande Ballroom with the undercard beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $100 for platinum seats, $40 for gold and $20 for reserved.

WHEELING, W. Va. -- Pittsburgh's Joe Wyatt (20-0) will face Columbus' Don Neal (9-9) in a six-round fight Friday at the Wheeling Isle Gaming Resort.
Wyatt is ranked ninth among WBO junior middleweights and the current 154-pound NABO champion. He is managed by Nelson.
The fight is part of a six-card event promoted by Jerry Thomas' West Virginia Sports Promotions.
