XBOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 2 as Heather Snitzer of Austintown and Kevin Sedlacek of Parma were united in marriage at First Covenant Church.
The Rev. Thomas Sharkey officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Martin of Austintown and Edward Snitzer of North Jackson and the son of Joseph and Phyllis Sedlacek of Parma.
After a reception at Mr. Anthony's, the couple left for a honeymoon in Punta Cana in the Domician Republic.
They live at 393 Topaz Lane, Brunswick.
The bride's strapless white satin gown was enhanced with beading and featured asymmetrical pleating on the side.
Blush-rose gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Melissa McTigue, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Sedlacek, the groom's sister-in-law; Tara Shuster; Melissa Miller; and Kelly Hall.
The duties of best man were performed by Evan Estep, and groomsmen were Ryan and Jim Sedlacek, brothers of the groom; Ryan McTigue, the bride's brother-in-law; Ron Brown; and Brian Berardi.
The bride, a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance and Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Mich., holds a master's degree in exercise science. She is an application specialist with Scott Care Corp. in Cleveland.
The groom, a high-school teacher with Brooklyn City Schools, earned a bachelor's degree in history-education at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea.
