Perhaps it's human nature to tune out something we hope we never need. Fortunately, flight attendants take safety seriously, as last Tuesday's crash of an Air France jet proved so dramatically.
No one died. Fewer than 50 people were injured. It's a testament to a smart evacuation plan executed by a well-trained crew.
