XGIRARD -- The wedding of Kathleen Clifford and Sam Caputo, both of 1623 Laura Lane, Mineral Ridge, took place at 2 p.m. July 16 at St. Rose Church.
The Rev. Peter Haladej officiated, and a reception was held afterward at The Georgetown in Boardman. After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple live in Mineral Ridge.
The bride's parents are Kevin Clifford, El Paso, Texas, and Carol and Neil Cooper, 828 Oregon Ave., McDonald. The groom is a son of Frank and Sue Caputo, 407 Joan Ave.
Adorned with crystals, pearls and gold embellishments, the bride's strapless candlelight white ball gown had a sheer organza overlay and cathedral train.
Gold gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Erin Potts, the bride's sister, and Sarah Casale, and the bridesmaids, Kim Caputo, sister of the groom; Michele Chicone; Elisha Money; Melissa Tracey; and Kristilyn Trevelline. Flower girl was Emma Reardon.
Frank Caputo, the groom's brother, and Dan Boughamer were best men, and groomsmen were Jim English, Brian Partain, Dan Reardon, Joe Trevelline and Tony Potts, the bride's brother-in-law. Ushers were John Croyts and Michael Kermec, and ring bearer was Matthew Reardon.
The bride, a physical therapist with PM & amp;R North Inc., Poland, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's in physical therapy.
The groom is a high-school teacher with Warren City Schools. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in education.
