XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Bethann Bader of New Middletown and Donald Helle of Akron were married at 3:30 p.m. July 9 in a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Larry Klinker at Zion Lutheran Church.
A reception was held afterward at The Embassy in Youngstown to honor the daughter of Larry and Beverly Bader of Corry, Pa., and the son of Larry and Martha Helle of Poland.
The couple have returned from a wedding trip to Hocking Hills and live in Akron.
The bride's halter-style A-line gown of white satin was adorned with beaded lace appliques and featured a chapel train.
Honor attendant was the bride's cousin, Laura Baird, and bridesmaids were Michele Short, her sister, and Kimberly Rook and Wendy Love, who wore apple red gowns. Flower girls were the groom's nieces, Abigail and Rebecca Catlos.
Dave Bero performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were John Kennedy, Patrick Garritano and the bride's brother, Bill Bader. Junior groomsmen were Zachary Bader and Brandon Short, and ring bearer was Joshua Bader, all nephews of the bride.
The bride, an occupational therapist with Akron General Medical Center, graduated from Cleveland State University with a master's degree in occupational therapy.
The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and earned his master's at the University of Akron. He is a regional manager with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Akron.
