XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Sunshine Lynn Barron of Poland, a daughter of Marianne Barron of Youngstown and William D. Barron, also of Youngstown, and James Matthew Craven of Poland, a son of William J. Craven Sr. of Youngstown, were married at 2 p.m. July 2 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The Rev. Nicholas Shori officiated, and a reception followed at The Embassy in Youngstown.
The couple live in Poland.
The bride's two-piece halter gown of organza was fashioned with a V-neckline, lace-up back and chapel train, and featured floral beaded embroidery.
Apple-red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Joy Craven, the groom's sister-in-law, and the bridesmaids, Christina Stambaugh, Angela Nespeca, Bonnie Bodnar, cousin of the bride, and Samantha and Sarah Craven, nieces of the groom. Mara Bray was flower girl.
The groom's brother, William J. Craven Jr., was best man, and groomsmen were Shawn Bray, Jason Murzda, Mike Koenig, Joseph Craven, nephew of the groom, and Douglas Bonetti, stepbrother of the groom. Toby Bonetti, also a stepbrother of the groom, was ring bearer.
The bride holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Youngstown State University and is a fourth-grade teacher with Liberty School District.
The groom earned an associate degree in criminal justice at YSU. He is a patrolman with the Poland Village Police Department and is chief of police for the Washingtonville Police Department.
