Published: Thu, August 4, 2005 @ 12:00 a.m.

BOARDMAN -- A Melrose Avenue man told police he was robbed of $40 in cash early Wednesday as he sat in car on Hillman Way at Midlothian Boulevard.

The 22-year-old said he had just withdrawn the cash from an ATM on Hillman and was stopped at a red light when a black woman, between 25 and 35, knocked on the window and asked if she could get in the car.

He said no, but she opened the door said she had a gun and asked for money. The man didn't see a gun but said she kept her arm at her side.

The man told the woman to take the two $20 bills on his car seat, she took the cash and walked northbound on Hillman into Youngstown.
