2 teens arrested in July hit-and-run death


YOUNGSTOWN -- Two arrests have been made in the July 10 homicide of Marilyn Guthrie of Niles.
Guthrie, 61, was the victim of a hit-and-run on Parkcliffe Avenue on the South Side at about 5 a.m. She was found face down on the street. Her car, likely used to hit her, was found burned out on the West Side on July 13.
Arrested Tuesday on an aggravated murder charge were Anthony D. Johnson, 18, of Steel Street, and his Steel Street neighbor, Corrion Bertram, 17.
Detectives on the case, members of the Street Crimes Unit and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force made the arrests.
Details about the crime or motive were not made available.
