XThe second annual Champion Community Fair is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, 5734 Mahoning Ave. Community agencies will offer information, fair-goers can donate blood, and free samples and gifts will be given throughout the day. Kids' games and fine arts will be available, Barbecue ribs, hot dogs and snow cones will be sold, and musical entertainment will be provided. Admission is free. XSt. Rocco Episcopal Church, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty, will have its patronal celebration day Aug. 14, beginning with Mass at 10 a.m. and an outdoor procession with pipes and drums. Homemade cavatelli and/or spaghetti dinners, homemade sausage with peppers, pizza and baked goods will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $3.50 for children and free to those 5 and younger. Live music will be played all day, and a Chinese auction, drawings for $500, $250 and a bushel of wine, and a 50-50 raffle will be held. Also, a Mass on St. Rocco Patron Day will be held at noon Aug. 16.
XYoungstown Serbian Day will be celebrated Aug. 13 at Old Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 420 N. Raccoon Road, Austintown, beginning at 2 p.m. Barbecued lamb and pig, sarma dinners, Serbian foods, music, sports, games and a playground for kids will be available.
XWestern Reserve Chapter of Coca-Cola Collectors Club's annual flea market will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Garden Brook Center, 4820 state Route 5 N.E., Cortland, rain or shine. Coca-Cola memorabilia and other advertising items will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

XThe annual rummage sale to benefit the Alzheimer Network is set for Thursday through Saturday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Proceeds will help support services for area families who are dealing with the disease. Doors will open at 9 a.m. each day and close at 2:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 12:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be a dollar-a-bag special, and also available will be baked goods, a car wash, face painting and refreshments.
