Be ready to be charmed if you go to the Secret Garden concert at 8 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre, 1511

Be ready to be charmed if you go to the Secret Garden concert at 8 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre, 1511 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Ticketmaster. The classical duo operates with a truly accessible style of playing.

Impressed. That's the word most people would use after seeing Savion Glover perform. His "Improvography II" will be at Palace Theater at 7:30 p.m. The show is at Playhouse Square, Cleveland. (216) 241-6000 or (800) 766-6048.

"The Tale of the Allergist's Wife," 8 p.m. at the Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., is a most entertaining evening. (330) 746-0404.

It's an unusual performance, a concert of "Fiddler on the Roof" and other show tunes by the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra with guest performer Austin Pendleton and Festival chorus, 8, W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1704 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. (330) 841-2931.

"Freedom" was his cry. But the Richie Havens song came to pass only because he had run out of material after many encores. See the well-seasoned musical veteran at 8 p.m. at Kent Stage, 175 East Main St., Kent. (330) 677-5005.

They say that slavish devotion to anything is a mistake. But two bands have done quite well by keeping the spirit alive:

The Dark Star Orchestra, 9 p.m., Odeon Concert Club, Cleveland. (888) 633-6688 or Ticketmaster.

Badfish, A Sublime Tribute Act with Evenflow, A Pearl Jam Trubute Act, 7:30 p.m., House of Blues, Music Hall, Cleveland. Ticketmaster.com.

Fun for the kids: It's "Pinocchio" by Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theater, 2 p.m., Youngstown Playhouse. (330) 788-8739.

For folks who like their music smart and sleazy, check out Leon Redbone at the Third Anniversary Concert, 7 p.m., Kent Stage, 175 East Main St, Kent. (330) 677-5005. The show was rescheduled from March 26.

Why do cool acts come in threes these days? On Tuesday, you can choose among these talented folks:

Todd Rundgren (right) with Joe Jackson and Ethel, 8 p.m. at State Theatre, Playhouse Square, Cleveland. (Story, D13) www.playhousesquare.com, (216) 241-6000 or (800) 766-6048.

Tift Merritt, 8 p.m. at House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. (216) 523-2583 or www.hob.com.

Stewart Copeland, 7 p.m. at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland. (216) 241-5555.

Ah, the choices we have to make.

Wednesday

Thank goodness that Ryan Adams and Rachael Yamagata show up a day later, 8 p.m. at House of Blues, Music Hall, Cleveland. Ticketmaster.

On Thursday and Friday, YSU Dance Ensemble performs at 8 p.m. at Ford Theater, YSU Bliss Hall, Wick Avenue, Youngstown. (330) 941-3105.

Friday night, it's also Kenny G at 8 p.m. in Allen Theatre, Playhouse Square, Cleveland. (216) 241-6000, (800) 766-6048 or www.playhousesquare.com.

Then, at 7 p.m. May 10, Good Charlotte & amp; Simple Plan w/Relient K, invade Tower City Amphitheater, Cleveland. Ticketmaster.

Talk about a hot ticket! Bruce Springsteen (right), playing at 8 p.m. at CSU Convocation Center, Cleveland, sold out in minutes. Maybe a really good friend will let you have his ticket. Or maybe not.
