TODAY

XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish dinners are $6.95; four-piece honey-dipped chicken, $8; all-you-can-eat spaghetti with two meatballs or rigatoni, $5; homemade stuffed cabbage, $5.95; and pork chop, $7.95. Meals will include salad, a side dish of potato or pasta, and bread. Sandwiches for $2.50 and a children's menu will be available. For carryouts call (330) 550-6268.

THURSDAY

XAn all-you-can-eat pasta dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. at Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown, in the St. Nicholas Meeting Room. Cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available. Call (330) 782-6388 for information.

XCroatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Proceeds benefit the club's building fund.

XWestern Reserve Baptist Church, 8590 Hitchcock Road, Boardman, will serve a community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. The menu will include chicken casserole, green beans, applesauce and dessert. Freewill donations will be accepted.

FRIDAY

XHoly Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.

XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and homemade cake doughnuts (plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar). Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi.

XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. The menu also will feature a choice of french fries, haluski or macaroni and cheese. Carryouts will be available. For information call (330) 534-9775.

XJohn Calvin-St. Paul United Church of Christ, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland, will serve chili dinners with bread and crackers for $2 and pie for $1.50 a slice from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Refills of chili by the bowl will be $1. XNational Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. The menu will feature baked or fried fish, a cook's choice fish or 21-piece shrimp, and a choice of hot foods and salad. Dessert also is included along with coffee, tea or punch. XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $4 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.

XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.

XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8:30 a.m. and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.

XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.

XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders are taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen for potato and kraut and $4 for cottage cheese. Lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

SATURDAY

XCanfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will serve chicken and biscuit dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. The dinner will be served cafeteria-style and will include mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce and pie. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 12. Carryout dinners will be available.

XChrist Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road, Youngstown will be having a free sausage and pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

XConcord Presbyterian Church, Route 45, north of Salem, will be having an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon. Adult tickets are $5, children 5 to 12 are $3 and children under 4 are free.

XGood Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner, craft and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost for adults is $6; children 5 to 12, $3; and children under 5, free. Takeout will be available.

XNorth Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, will be having an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 7 to 11 a.m. Donations will be accepted. The buffet will include eggs, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, sausage, fruits, cereal, juice and coffee. For more information call, (330) 549-2333.

SUNDAY

XCapt. Charles M. Marino Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans, 113 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve spaghetti dinners from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $5.50 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Those under 6 may eat for free. Carryouts also will be available; containers can be purchased or patrons may provide their own.

XPoland Masonic Temple is having a Swiss steak dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Poland Masonic Temple, 7685 Youngstown-Pittsburg Road, Poland. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Dessert and beverage are included. Proceeds will go to the building fund for the new addition.

XThe Angela Canton Memorial Spaghetti Dinner, sponsored by Ray Canton, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Matthias School in the Father Snock Center, 2800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. The dinner will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, cake, coffee or tea. Pop will be sold for 50 cents. Containers will be provided for takeout dinners. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 11, and free for those 4 and under. All proceeds will benefit the church.

XSt. Rocco Episcopal Church will serve spaghetti, cavatelli and sausage polenta dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parish hall, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty Township. Adult dinners are $6, and children's are $3 for 6 to 12. Meals are free to those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available to patrons providing their own containers, or a container will be provided for 50 cents.

XShrine of Our Lady, Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will have a pasta dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner will include meatballs, salad, dessert and beverage. Carryout containers will be available at no extra charge. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children 7 to 12 and free for those 6 and under. There will also be a 50-50 raffle; winner need not be present.

XUptown Kiwanis will hold an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Luke Church, 5253 South Ave. Takeout will be available. Grotto clowns will be on hand to entertain the children. For information call (330) 758-6660.

XAuxiliary members of VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfasts of eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns, pancakes, freedom toast, toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12.

TUESDAY

XCoalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick Campbell Road, Hubbard, will serve an Election Day Swiss steak dinner from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, bread and beverage. Dine-in or takeout service will be available. There will be a bake sale for dessert.

Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under.

UPCOMING

XBoar's Head Ladies of St. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27 at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. TAKING ORDERS

XYoungstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., is taking orders for stuffed cabbage. The cost is $10 a dozen. Orders can be made until Tuesday by calling (330)799-8111 and are to be picked up at the club from noon to 2 p.m. May 7. Take your own containers or the club will provide one for 50 cents.
