YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University placekicker Nick Terracina will be one of 10 college

YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University placekicker Nick Terracina will be one of 10 college scholar-athletes to receive a $2,000 scholarship from the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

The awards will be presented on May 9 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

The banquet will honor 24 high school football players, including Liberty's Marcellus Bowman, Jackson-Milton's Adam keck, Leetonia's Aaron Merrill and LaBrae's Todd Rowan.

Banquet tickets cost $59.50 and may be ordered by calling Tim Gleason at (330) 963-0444.

STRUTHERS -- Struthers High senior Ty Campana will continue his football and track careers at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.

The six-feet-one-inch athlete played wide receiver and defensive back for the Wildcats football team. He received all-Metro Athletic Conference honors as wide receiver.

In track, he was the anchor for last year's Division III state champion 4x100 relay team. The Struthers 4x200 team finished second at state. The son of T.J. and Debbie Campana, he has run the 100-meter dash in 10.9.
