BOARDMAN -- Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will hold its Administrative Professionals Day/Executive Night banquet April 27 at Antone's Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
The evening will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6. Entr & eacute;e choices are chicken francaise or broiled pork chops.
Sarah Brown-Clark, clerk of the Youngstown Municipal Court, will be the featured speaker. Brown-Clark, who was elected to that position in November 1999, is on political leave from Youngstown State University, where she has been an associate professor of English since 1972. She is a 1971 cum laude graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in English, holds a master's in English from Ohio University, and has earned hours toward a doctorate in English from Kent State University.
Brown-Clark served as director of the Black Studies Program and coordinator of the Black History celebration at Youngstown State University from 1986 to 1998.
Highlighting the evening will be the announcement of the chapter's Executive of the Year and recognition of its Member of the Year.
Elfreda Hoefer and Christine Simone are co-chairmen of the banquet, and committee members are Pat Roberts, Marsha Mansell, Deborah Yiannaki, Marie Sammartino, Carmella DiGaetano, Marlene Dailey, Bonnie Filipovich, Sharon Conway, Loretta Moore, Christine Bidwell, Milissa Ferraro-Gahagan, Becky Hildack and Carrie Votino.
