Heard a report from Richard Ouzounian, head of the Western Reserve Film Commission, that two television stations and a movie production company are developing projects that might interest county residents. Ouzounian said TBS Television is looking for families for a project called "Love Thy Neighbor," which features a look at neighboring families who don't necessarily get along. He said families selected can make $100,000. ABC Television is developing a project about swapping mothers, and Harpo Productions, Oprah Winfrey's production company, is looking to do a project that would need a Gothic stone mansion next to a cornfield as a backdrop. He thought there might be such a building in Sebring.
Heard a recommendation from community activist John Paulette of Austintown to have an architect conduct a space allocation audit at the county's South Side Annex on Market Street to see whether any county offices now paying rent at other buildings can be relocated to the annex.
