YOUNGSTOWN -- Clinics, open to participants of the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC) and the public, and offering nutrition education and activities, are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays beginning March 20. The clinics are sponsored by the Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership-WIC, which provides nutrition education and supplemental foods, at no cost, to eligible pregnant women, women with infants under 6 months of age, breast-feeding women, infants and children living in Mahoning County who are at nutritional risk, and families who meet income guidelines. GREENVILLE, Pa. -- UPMC Horizon offers a Heartsaver Adult/Automatic External Defibrillator CPR and a Pediatric CPR course from 6 to 10 p.m. March 22 and March 25, respectively, at UPMC Horizon's Greenville facility. Honoring older workers
BEATTYVILLE, KY. -- Experience Works, the country's largest provider of mature-worker training and employment, is searching for Ohio's outstanding older worker to be honored during a prime-time awards program Oct. 5-9 in Washington.
Businesses and individuals may nominate a worker who is 65 or older, a resident of Ohio, currently employed, and working at least 20 hours a week for pay.
