XHONOLULU, Hawaii -- The beach at Diamond Head Park was the setting July 16 as nuptial vows were exchanged by Maria Lallo and Calvin Wagner III, both of Struthers, as they were united in marriage during a morning ceremony solemnized by the Rev. N.A. McHenry.
The daughter of Thomas and Patricia Lallo of Struthers and the son of Calvin Wagner Jr. and Mary Wagner, both of Boardman, honeymooned on the islands of Oahu and Maui.
The newlyweds, who live in Struthers, were honored during a postnuptial Hawaiian luau reception that took place July 31 at Mauthe Park Hall, Struthers.
The bride's strapless white satin wedding gown was adorned with beading and featured a crossover sash and a corset-style back.
The couple's honor attendant was Dawn Headley, who is stationed with the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science in criminal justice, the bride is a chemist at Omega Laboratories in Mogadore.
The groom, a journeyman carpenter with Local 171, is employed with Alex Downie and Sons Co., Youngstown.
