Pavement repairs will delay traffic

SALEM -- Motorists traveling in Columbiana County in the next few weeks should be prepared for traffic delays, Ohio Department of Transportation officials advise.
ODOT District 11 officials in New Philadelphia said pavement repairs are under way on state Route 45 through Wellsville.
The work covers nearly nine miles of highway in Wellsville from just north of state Route 7 to U.S. Route 30. Traffic will be maintained.
Lash Excavating & amp; Paving of Colerain has the $717,275 contract.
The pavement repairs are in preparation for paving the highway. Work is to be completed in mid-October.
State Route 7, state Route 11 and U.S. Route 30 traffic is restricted for two weeks while ODOT maintenance crews are patching bridge decks between the Columbiana-Jefferson County line and the Mahoning County line. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting.
The patching work is to be completed by Aug. 27.
