XCanfield Swim and Tennis Club's Swim Team will hold a back-to-school breakfast for mothers who survived the summer on Sept. 14 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The buffet will feature omelets, cheese blintzes, bacon, fruit, pastries, and coffee, tea or orange juice. XYoungstown American-Hungarian Club members will hold the annual picnic for members and guests Aug. 22 at the club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown. Members are asked to take casseroles. Cost is $5 for members and $7 for guests. Dues also will be collected. Serving will begin at 1:30 p.m., and there will be a bacon fry. XDowntown Youngstown Kiwanis will hold its annual golf outing and fish fry Friday. Golf will begin at 10:45 a.m. at Firestone Farms. Cost is $40 for 18 holes of golf, cart and prizes. XYoungstown Pride Center/PFLAGT will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Unitarian Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown. The organization's annual picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 21 at Pavilion 1 on Milton Avenue in Lake Milton. Cost is $2, and the event will be a potluck dinner. Swimming and games are planned.
