Trumbull County plans to improve roads



WARREN -- The Trumbull County Engineer's Office plans to pave six roads as part of a $1.3 million road improvement program expected to begin this year and continue into 2005.
County commissioners were expected to approve seeking bids for the program today. The state is to cover 69 percent of program costs through Issue 2.
The projects are:
URepaving Warren-Sharon Road from Brookfield Avenue to the Pennsylvania state line.
UWidening and paving Sodom-Hutchings Road from Tibbetts Corners Wick Road north to state Route 82; paving Salt Springs Road from state Route 46 east to Interstate 80.
UPaving Warren-Burton Road from state Route 305/534 east to state Route 422.
UPaving and replacing curbs on Larchmont Avenue from Warren city limits north to Perkins-Jones Road.
UPaving Applegate-Sodom Road/ Logangate Road from state Route 7/62 northwest to Loganway-Wick Road.
