USent to a second reading a resolution opposing a proposal by Cedar's Cafe that would make a section of downtown a community entertainment district.
UAuthorized the board of control to waive formal bidding and pay A.P. O'Horo Co. $65,648 for emergency sewer repairs on Tod Lane. A 15-inch sanitary sewer collapsed and discharged raw sewage into Crandall Park Pond and threatened to back up into basements of nearby homes.
UAuthorized the board of control to negotiate and sign a professional services deal for certain accounting services because the state auditor's office is discontinuing those services.
