Faison's double-double keys Chaney

YOUNGSTOWN -- Quiana Faison scored 14 points Friday to lead the Chaney High girls basketball team to a 55-41 victory over Wilson.
Faison pulled down 14 rebounds for the Cowgirls (4-7, 1-1 City Series) in the Wilson gymnasium.
Joselyn Parker scored 13 points and Courtney Williams scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for Chaney.
"When we went to our press, their offense stalled and their turnovers helped us to a pair of good scoring runs," Chaney coach Tim Bakos said.
Wilson (1-6, 0-1) was led by Ron'Desa Griffin's 11 points and Crystal Slade's seven assists.
"We were playing them close, but we seemed to lose our enthusiasm in the second half," Wilson coach Henry Brew said.
