TODAY

XFraternal Order of Eagles 3298, 1655 Raccoon Road, Austintown, will serve dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. All-you-can-eat fish and four-piece honey-dipped chicken dinners will be $6.95, pasta meals will feature all-you-can-eat spaghetti with two meatballs or rigatoni for $5; and pork chop dinners will be $7.95. Meals will include salad, a side dish of potato or pasta, and bread and butter. A variety of sandwiches for $2.50 and a children's menu also will be available. THURSDAY

XCol. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will be served with meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders will be $5.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

XAmerican Legion Post 290, state Route 14, Columbiana, will serve an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $6, and carryouts will be available; call (330) 482-9657.

Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers.

XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.

XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches, and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Takeouts are by advance order only. Cost is $3.50 for a dozen pirogi.

XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $4.25 for small dinners. XLowellville Rod & amp; Gun Club, Quarry Road, Poland, will hold a fish fry. Carryouts will be offered from 3 to 5 p.m., and dining in will be available from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Meals are $10.

XPotato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. Call (330) 799-0084 from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Cost is $3.75 per dozen. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; patrons may provide their own containers and are asked to use the side entrance. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

XSt. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will be making and selling pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Orders must be picked up by 1 p.m.

XFish dinners will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parish center at St. James Church, Route 422, New Bedford, Pa. Meals are $6.50 for adults and $4 for children, and will feature baked or fried fish, pirogi, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, roll and butter, dessert and beverage. Takeouts will be available.

XSt. John Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell, will sell takeout cheese and cabbage haluski for $4 a quart. Walk-in orders are welcome. Advance orders will be accepted at (330) 755-1670 until Thursday. On Friday, orders will be accepted from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at (330) 755-2223.

XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.

XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8 and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.

XSt. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Youngstown, will make boil-in-the-bag sweet cabbage and potato and cheese pirogi. Pickup for walk-ins will be from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown.

XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi also will be available.

XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 2 Friday based on availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen. Lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

XSts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 185 Laird Ave. N.E., Warren, will sell potato, sweet cabbage, sauerkraut and lekvar pirogi. Haluski will also be available. Advance orders may be placed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Thursday by calling (330) 393-0781. Pickup will be from noon to 5 p.m. Friday.

SATURDAY

XA wild-game dinner of dishes made from rabbit, squirrel, turkey, duck, goose and venison will be served by Ashtabula First Assembly of God Men's Ministry at 6:30 p.m. at the church, 2300 Austinburg Road. Tickets are available for $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 at the following locations: Outdoor Army-Navy Store and Family Spirit at Edgewood Plaza, both in Ashtabula; Sonshine Corner Christian Books in Jefferson; and Winners Circle in Geneva.

XA sausage and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Campbell O Club of St. John Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available.

XEllsworth Presbyterian Youth Group will sponsor an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church, corner of state Routes 224 and 45. The cost is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children 12 and under. There also will be a Chinese auction.

XK. of C. 2072 of Hubbard, 425 N. Main St., will serve pancake and sausage breakfasts from 7 to 11 a.m. Meals are $4. Children under 6 eat free.

XMahoning United Methodist Church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, is serving a Fat Saturday dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu will include beef tips and noodles and an all-you-can-eat dessert bar. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 7 to 12.

XTrinity Lutheran Church, 56 N. Chestnut St., Niles, is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Tickets will be sold at the door. For more information call the church office, (330) 652-6078.

XVolant Volunteer Fire Department, 203 Main St., Volant, Pa., will hold a buckwheat pancake and sausage day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. All-you-can-eat meals are $5 for adults, $4.50 for seniors and $2.50 for children under 12. For more information call (724) 748-5591.

XWoodland Park United Methodist Church, 601 Ohio Ave., McDonald, is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu includes meatballs, salad, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. Tickets will be sold at the door. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Takeouts will be available.

SUNDAY

XBoy Scouts of America Troop 54 will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the Conservation Club, 2535 McClearly-Jacoby Road, Cortland. The cost is $5 for adults, $3.50 for children 5 to 12 and free for those 4 and under. Takeouts will be available.

XA chicken paprikash dinner will be served by the Circle of Serbian Sisters of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, Laird Avenue, Youngstown, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Serbian Memorial Hall. The menu also will include dumplings, salad, bread and butter, and beverage. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are required.

XSt. Matthias Church will hold a stuffed cabbage dinner from noon to 3 p.m. at the Father Snock Center, 2800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. Meals include mashed potatoes, corn, bread, cake and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 11. Those 4 and under eat free. Pop will be 50 cents a can. Containers will be provided for takeouts.

XSt. Rocco's Episcopal Church will serve spaghetti, cavatelli and sausage polenta dinners from noon to 4 p.m. in the parish hall, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty Township. Adult dinners are $5.50 and children's are $2.50 for those 6 to 12. Meals are free to children 5 and under. Carryouts will be available to those providing their own containers, or a container will be provided for 50 cents.

XStruthers Presbyterian Church, 110 Poland Ave., will hold a Swiss steak dinner from noon to 3 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 7 to 14, and free to those 6 and under. The menu will include mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, tossed salad or applesauce, rolls and butter, cake and coffee, tea or punch. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling (330) 755-8233.

XVFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary will serve breakfasts of eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or French toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon at the post, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Meals are $3.50 for adults and $1.75 for children under 12.

TUESDAY

XPleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Midlothian at Southern boulevards, will hold a Shrove Tuesday pancake-sausage dinner from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Meals are $4 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12. Proceeds will benefit the Jubilee Gardens Program.

XSt. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 3755 S. Raccoon Road, Canfield, will hold a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 12. Those under 6 are free.

XSt. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will hold an all-you-can-eat family-style pancake and sausage dinner with ice cream sundaes from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. XSt. Luke Episcopal Church, 348 Robbins Ave., Niles, will hold a Shrove Tuesday all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $4 for adults, $2 for children or a maximum of $10 for families with school-age children. TAKING ORDERS

XAmerican Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown, is taking carryout orders for stuffed cabbage at (330) 792-3731 until Tuesday. The cost is $9 a dozen, and pickup will be from noon to 3:30 p.m. March 8 at the club. Patrons are asked to provide containers; those provided by the club will be an additional 50 cents each.

XLadies Guild of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is taking orders until Monday for pasta fagioli at $3.50 per quart and rolls at $2.50 per dozen. Pickup will be March 5 at the educational center, 219 E. Wood St., Lowellville. To order call (330) 757-3837.

XLydia Circle of First United Methodist Church of Girard, 22 N. Market St., is taking orders for individual-size ham loaves. Each loaf is $1.50, and orders may be placed through March 6 by calling (330) 545-4361. Pickup will be from 1 to 4 p.m. March 10.

XSt. Lucy Church, 404 Tenney Ave., Campbell, is taking orders for pasta fagioli, pizza, bread, hard rolls and sweet rolls from 7 to 11 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. To place orders call (330) 755-2828. Orders placed before Sunday will receive a free Lenten loaf of bread. Pickup will be 1:30 to 3 p.m. March 5, and patrons are asked to provide their own containers.

XSts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 185 Laird Ave., N.E., Warren, is taking orders for homemade 6-inch Italian sub sandwiches, made with salami, ham, pepperoni, lettuce, tomato and cheese and including dressing. The cost is $3 each, and orders can be placed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 5 by calling (330) 393-0781. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. March 7.

UPCOMING

XBoar's Head Ladies of St. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 5 at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. XLiberty Hoops Club and Liberty Wrestling Boosters are sponsoring an Amish dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 13 at the Liberty High School cafeteria. The menu will feature roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet and sour meatballs, kielbasi and cabbage, rigatoni, green beans, coleslaw, breads and apple butter, butterscotch date pudding with cream, pies and beverages.
