Pistons 93, Heat 62

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Richard Hamilton scored a season-high 34 points and Ben Wallace added 19 rebounds for Detroit. The Pistons have won seven of eight, while the Heat have dropped three of four. Miami was without leading scorer Eddie Jones, who missed his third straight game with a strained groin, and finished with its lowest point total of the season. Cliff Robinson added 15 points for Detroit, while Michael Curry matched a season-high with 11. Caron Butler led Miami with 13 points and Rasual Butler added 10.

Jazz 109, Timberwolves 97

SALT LAKE CITY -- Karl Malone had 28 points and nine rebounds and John Stockton added 18 points and 11 assists as Utah snapped Minnesota's six-game winning streak. Matt Harpring scored 21 for the Jazz, who shot 59 percent (42-for-71). Kevin Garnett had 34 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who led by as many as 12 in the first half before fading.

Trail Blazers 99, Knicks 91

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Rasheed Wallace scored 23 points and had eight rebounds to lead Portland. It was the Trail Blazers' second straight win after losing their first two after the All-Star break. Portland has won eight of its last 11. Allan Houston led the Knicks with 27 points. Kurt Thomas added 19 points and 12 rebounds.
