3 from Youngstown to face charges in county court

BOARDMAN -- Three Youngstown men will face various charges in Mahoning County Court here Thursday.
Police accused two of the men of threatening employees at a Southern Boulevard tire business last Friday.
Alvin Montgomery Jr., 46, of Mahoning Avenue is charged with aggravated menacing and theft. Raymond Boone, 47, of East Florida Avenue is charged with two counts of aggravated menacing, drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.
Police reports say the men went into Paul's Tire and started arguing with employees, then one of the men pulled out a folding knife and threatened employees.
Marvin Lee Davis, 46, of Mercer Street faces misdemeanor theft charges.
Police say Davis took $173 from the purse of a woman Friday while he was working at the Tinseltown movie theater on Market Street.
