Born: Feb. 19, 1903, in Johnson Township near Cortland.
Residence: Grand Court Retirement Community in Beaver Creek near Dayton.
Married: George O'Neil of Youngstown on July 2, 1926. He died in November 1989.
Children: Arthur of Dayton and Leland, who died in infancy.
Background: She is the first-born child of Ethel and Lehman Lechleitner. She grew up on the family farm with her brother and sister. Mrs. O'Neil graduated from Hiram College in 1924 with a degree in education and began her career in teaching in Liberty Township, where she and her husband lived for three years. She also taught during the 1950s in McDonald and Newton Falls. The couple lived in McDonald for 37 years until the 1960s, when they retired and moved to Bradenton, Fla.
