Summary of police activity:
Theft, criminal damage: A Canfield man reported leaving Woody's Bar & amp; Grill, 718 N. State St., and discovering three men had stolen from his vehicle a compact disc stereo system, about 100 CDs and a duffel bag containing clothing. Several of the vehicle's locks, as well as its steering column, were damaged.
Arrest: While investigating a theft report at Towne Centre Plaza, 820 N. State St., police arrested a Girard man on charges of theft and public indecency after two store employees alleged that the suspect exposed himself to them.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 100 block of Parkview Drive reported that someone damaged her son's vehicle.
Theft: An employee at Reed Middle School, 150 Hall Ave., discovered an undetermined number of items missing.
Criminal damage: A man in the 200 block of East Liberty Street reported that someone damaged a door frame while attempting to break into his residence.
Theft: An Orchard Avenue man reported that an undetermined amount of money was fraudulently removed from a checking account he has at Metropolitan National Bank, 39 W. Liberty St.
Theft: A Clingan Street woman reported her daughter's cellular phone missing after the girl found her purse, which she left in a restroom at Reed Middle School.
Attempted theft: An employee at Gasser Chair Co. Inc., 53 S. Main St., reported that someone tried to steal several items from his car.
Auto theft: A 1991 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the parking lot at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St.
