FORUM HEALTH New vice president to focus on fund raising

YOUNGSTOWN -- Forum Health has named Richard K. Geicek to a new position as senior vice president of philanthropy to oversee both Western Reserve Care System and Trumbull Memorial Foundations.

He will focus on developing relationships with local foundations, organizations and individuals to raise awareness about the health care system, while maximizing fund-raising efforts.

Before joining Forum Health, Geicek was president of Ingham Regional Healthcare Foundation in Lansing, Mich.

A member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, he is a certified fund-raising executive and is the former treasurer of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

Geicek graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in political science and gained graduate credits through the Executive Management Institute of Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Geicek lives in Canfield.
