Bryant was 15-for-28 from the field and 18-of-20 on free throws to score 40 or more points for the 11th time this season. He reached 50 points for the third time in his career and finished five short of his career high despite sitting out the final 13 minutes.

LOS ANGELES -- Michael Jordan had 23 points and 12 assists before fouling out for the first time since the 1991-92 season as Washington defeated Los Angeles. Tyronn Lue added a season-high 21 points, and Christian Laettner had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Wizards, who snapped a five-game road losing streak.

MILWAUKEE -- Ray Allen scored 28 points, and Tim Thomas had a season-high 27 as Milwaukee sent Dallas to its third consecutive loss. With the shot clock winding down, Sam Cassell hit a 15-footer over Nick Van Exel to give the Bucks a 117-114 lead with 25 seconds left. Steve Nash missed a 3-pointer, and Michael Finley grabbed the long rebound and shot another 3, but missed. Cassell added a free throw, and Thomas scored on a dunk to seal it for the Bucks, who swept the two-game season series from Dallas.

SALT LAKE CITY -- Steve Francis scored 36 points, and Yao Ming had 11 of his 15 in the second half as Houston avenged an overtime loss to Utah 24 hours earlier. James Posey and Maurice Taylor added 13 points each for the Rockets, who snapped a three-game skid. The Rockets shot 40-for-76 from the floor (52.6 percent) and forced 19 turnovers.

TORONTO -- Vince Carter scored 13 of his 21 points in the final five minutes as the Raptors won their fourth straight. PHILADELPHIA -- Allen Iverson scored four of his 36 points in overtime, and Philadelphia withstood a scare from the NBA's worst road team. The Sixers had an 11-point lead with 3:45 left in the fourth quarter, but Jalen Rose's leaning 18-footer with 7.6 seconds left in regulation tied it at 109 to cap Chicago's comeback. Rose finished with season highs of 38 points and 13 assists.

NEW YORK -- Troy Murphy hit an 18-foot jumper with 1:11 left to stop a late New York rally as Golden State won on the road for the second straight night. Murphy had 17 points and 13 rebounds. Gilbert Arenas added 25 points, Jason Richardson had 18 and Antawn Jamison scored 17 for the Warriors, who shot a season-high 58.9 percent from the field one night after winning in Atlanta.
