ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tracy McGrady had 32 points and eight rebounds and Orlando withstood a late rally. The loss was just the second in eight games for the Nets, who won three straight going into the All-Star break.

ATLANTA -- Gilbert Arenas scored a career-high 37 points and made a key steal and layup with 20 seconds left. Dion Glover tied his career-high with 28 points, but missed a 3-pointer that would have tied it with 2 seconds remaining. Jason Richardson scored 24 for the Warriors.
Hornets 78, Heat 69
MIAMI -- Jamal Mashburn couldn't match his offensive pace from before the All-Star break, but the New Orleans Hornets relied on their defense to beat the Heat. Mashburn, who averaged 31.7 points in his three previous games, finished with 15 to help the Hornets to their third straight win. Mashburn also had 13 rebounds and three assists.
Timberwolves 100, Mavericks 98
MINNEAPOLIS -- Wally Szczerbiak made a corner jumper as the final buzzer sounded after Minnesota squandered a 17-point third-quarter lead. Szczerbiak, who had 21 points, came off a screen on an inbounds play with 1.6 seconds left and nailed his shot from 17 feet to give the Timberwolves their 10th straight home victory. Dirk Nowitzki had 34 points and Michael Finley had 21 for Dallas.

CHICAGO -- Ben Wallace followed up his busy All-Star weekend with 22 rebounds, and Chauncey Billups scored 20 points as the Detroit Pistons gained their fifth straight victory.
Jazz 103, Rockets 101, OT
HOUSTON -- Karl Malone scored 33 points, including 14 in a fourth-quarter comeback, as the Utah Jazz rallied for an overtime victory. Utah trailed 83-75 with 7:43 left in the game, but Malone put them in position for Matt Harpring's 3-point basket with one-tenth of a second left to tie it at 94-94 and force overtime. Malone hit a 12-foot jumper to start the overtime and the Jazz never trailed again. Steve Francis led Houston with 28 points.

PHOENIX -- Elton Brand, Quentin Richardson and Andre Miller led a fourth-quarter rally that propelled the Los Angeles Clippers over the Phoenix Suns. Brand led the Clippers with 29 points and 11 rebounds, Richardson had 20, Miller 19 and Lamar Odom 16.
Kings 99, Wizards 80
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Peja Stojakovic had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Doug Christie had 16 points and 12 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings opened a seven-game homestand with an easy victory over Washington.

SEATTLE -- Antoine Walker had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the Boston Celtics let a big lead slip away before beating the SuperSonics in Vin Baker's return to Seattle.

LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant made it six straight games of 35 points or more by scoring 42 despite sitting out the fourth quarter as the Lakers extended their winning streak to a season-high six. Bryant has scored 243 points (40.5 average) during the streak. He played 31 minutes against the Nuggets, shooting 12-of-20 and making 17 of 21 free throws. The totals could have been higher, but with the Lakers leading 100-66 after three quarters, he wasn't needed after that.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Emmanuel Ginobili hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 42 seconds left in overtime -- his only field goal of the game. Tim Duncan had 36 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Spurs.
