DURHAM, N.C. -- Alana Beard scored 24 points, and No. 2 Duke used a 10-0 second-half run to pull away. Iciss Tillis added 17 points for the Blue Devils (22-1, 10-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won their 34th straight conference game. Sheana Mosch added 11 points. Cherisse Graham scored 11 to lead Virginia (10-12, 4-7) before fouling out with 1:17 to play. The Cavaliers pulled to 42-38 on Anna Crosswhite's 3-pointer with 12:46 remaining, but Duke responded with its run over the next 4:32. Beard had six of the Blue Devils' 10 points, including consecutive layups to end the run. Duke made five of nine shots from the field and 12-of-16 free throws over the final 7:26 to seal the victory. The Blue Devils scored the last 11 points, while Virginia missed its last eight shots from the floor.
