SCHOLARSHIP EVENT Yo-Mah-O Chapter plans reverse raffle

BOARDMAN -- Yo-Mah-O Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will hold its fourth annual reverse raffle scholarship dinner March 8 at Mr. Anthony's.
The event will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. The public is welcome.
The theme for this year's event is "Yo-Mah-O's Root'n Toot'n Cash Roundup" with $4,000 in cash prizes to be awarded and only 100 tickets sold. Ticket holders will have a one-in-five chance of winning $100 and a one-in-one-hundred chance of winning a grand prize of $2,000.
In conjunction with the reverse raffle there will be a Chinese auction and a 50-50 drawing.
A reverse ticket is $100 and includes one dinner. Additional guest dinner tickets are $25 each. Tickets may be obtained from members by making checks payable to the organization or by visiting www.cisnet.com/yomahoiaap on the Internet.
Dinner entrees will feature a choice of sirloin steak or stuffed chicken breast. Please signify choice as the memo on your check.
Proceeds will benefit the organization's scholarship fund for students in need of financial assistance preparing for the business field.
Joyce Laska is general chairman of the event with assistance from Barbara Sofranec, president, and Andrea McConnaughy and Kathy Brown, co-chairmen of the ways and means committee.
