ASSOCIATIONS

XGold Torch Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet Wednesday at the Grandview Restaurant in Canfield. Menu choices are lasagna for $10.75, chicken francaise for $11.30 or Swiss steak for $13.75. Cancellation must be made today, or you will be responsible for payment. Dues of $12 are due this month.

XMill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Elm Tree in Struthers. Dr. Jyotindra P. Shah will speak on osteoporosis treatment; a free screening will be available. The dinner will be a buffet with roasted chicken, stuffed cabbage, pasta, potatoes, haluski, salad and dessert. XTrumbull-Mahoning-Ohio Association of Occupational Health Nurses will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Ground Round followed by dinner at 6 and a program at 7. Shelley Mazanetz will speak on "Role of the Nurse Investigator in the Coroner's Office." Choices of dinner entrees are teriyaki steak sticks, creamy garlic chicken and pasta, or fish and chips. XMcDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

AUXILIARIES

XITAM Auxiliary 3 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the clubrooms with Sarah Cheredar presiding. Hostesses will be Ann Mastro and Jean Doinoff.

XPoland K-C Ettes will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall, 3505 Center Road, for a meeting and cards. Hostesses will be chairman Mary Biroschak, Pauline and Angie Ciavarella and Ann Mavar.

XStruthers K. of C. Ladies will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the hall for a valentine potluck dinner. Husbands or guests are welcome. Hostesses will be Mary Cabuno, Minnie Edwards and Lee Sandusky.

XVFW Post 3538 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the post home for a regular meeting.

XVFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield.

XMcDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

XGirard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library.

XMcDonald Literary Guild will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Woodland Park United Methodist Church.

XWestern Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Lavonn Gettmann and Cathi Long will present a program on "Kool-Aid Yarn Dying." Supplies will be provided.

LODGES

XCroatian Lodge 185 of Campbell will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday at Our Place Restaurant on McCartney Road.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

XCatholic Women's Club of St. Rose, Girard, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the parish house dining room. There will be a speaker from the Arms Family Museum of Local History, and chairwoman will be Kim Boylen.

XJOY Team of Trinity United Methodist Church will meet at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 30 W. Front St., for a casserole dinner and Bible study.

XJunior Seton Circle will meet at noon Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Debbie Pifer of Whitehouse Farms will be the speaker, and hostesses will be Helen Grady, Rosemary Collins, Mary Halloran and Mary Gerst.

XMount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the parish house.

XSt. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

SERVICE CLUBS

XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Girard Masonic Temple.

XGirard-Liberty Rotary will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex, Liberty.

XQuota International of Youngstown will hold a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the new private dining room at Park Vista in Youngstown. Cost is $6.50. Elaine Garde will preside, and there will be discussion of future service projects and the Health-O-Rama to be held March 7 and 8.

XVienna Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Vienna Presbyterian Church, Vienna Center.

SINGLES

XD.A.R.E. events are as follows: meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Movies 8, Shops in the Park, Boardman; dance at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Avalon Inn, Howland, cost $4; meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the food court at Southern Park Mall to walk; and a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. XSingle For Any Reason members will attend a dance from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Hubbard VFW. Another dance is planned for 7 to 11 p.m. Sunday at the Avalon Inn, Howland; cost is $4. The group will meet for dinner at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Mocha House, where members are to take one valentine to share with friends.

XFred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson's Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. The speaker will be Jo Morrison, an occupational therapist. Hosts will be Sutton and Dorothy Smith and Jerry and Angie Scarmuzzi. Dues are $10.

XMcDonald Chapter of TOPS will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

XSt. Rose Group for the Divorced and Separated will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the parish house.
