At Tampa, Jaromir Jagr scored three times to give him 500 career goals. Jagr became the 33rd NHL player to reach the milestone. Jagr's 30th goal of the season gave him 11 career hat tricks. He is the 16th player to reach 500 goals in less than 1,000 games, doing it in 926.
Avalanche 3, Bruins 2, OT
At Boston, Greg de Vries scored his third goal of the season with 42.3 seconds left in overtime and Patrick Roy stopped 28 shots for Colorado. Scott Parker and Peter Forsberg also scored for the Avalanche, who matched a season high by pushing their unbeaten streak to six games.
Flyers 2, Islanders 1
At Uniondale, N.Y., Mark Recchi scored a rare power-play goal for Philadelphia with 9:56 left. Roman Cechmanek gave up an early goal to Roman Hamrlik, but made 28 saves to earn the victory. Jeremy Roenick scored 4:35 into the game for Philadelphia.
Devils 4, Sabres 1
At East Rutherford, N.J., Joe Nieuwendyk scored twice and Patrik Elias had a goal and an assist for New Jersey. Defenseman Tommy Albelin added his first goal and Corey Schwab made 19 saves for the Devils, who have won 16 of 22 games (16-3-2-1).
Predators 5, Red Wings 5
At Detroit, Denis Arkhipov scored with 3:12 left in regulation and Nashville rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie the Red Wings.
Thrashers 4, Canadiens 3
At Montreal, Marc Savard scored his second goal of the game with 1:36 left in the third period. Brad Tapper and Jeff Cowan also scored for the Thrashers. Andreas Dackell, Jan Bulis and Niklas Sundstrom scored for Montreal.
Mighty Ducks 3, Flames 2
At Calgary, Alberta, Sandis Ozolinsh scored the go-ahead goal at 10:19 of the third period in his Anaheim debut.
