Local success stories
YOUNGSTOWN -- In an effort to continue the Beacon of Hope Campaign that promotes stories about Youngstown City Schools graduates, the board of education is conducting five-minute interviews beginning at 10 a.m. Friday at the Irene L. Ward Building, 20 W. Wood St.
The campaign features city schools' success stories on billboards. School officials are asking graduates who are in town during the holidays to drop in.
