Campfire seeks young helpers

CANFIELD -- Camp Fire USA Northeast Ohio Council is looking for youth volunteers age 11-19 to serve in various positions.
Camp Fire USA is a youth development organization that "builds caring, confident youth and future leaders."
Youth volunteers are needed to represent the council on various county junior fair boards, officials said.
Currently the council is forming two youth cabinets to help advise the council on teens issues and concerns as well as help plan activities and service projects.
The Junior Cabinet will be made up of three teens from each county in the council's jurisdiction, age 11-14. The Youth Advisory Cabinet will be made up of jurisdiction, ages 15-19.

Camp Fire USA Northeast Ohio Council provides programs to boys and girls K-12 and their families in the counties of Ashland, Ashtabula, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Summit, Trumbull, Wayne and parts of Stark.
