BASEBALL

Mount Union 12, Malone 6 -- The Purple Raiders pounded out 15 hits.

PAC Tournament

Thiel 10, Westminster 4 -- The second-seeded Titans are 22-10. Thiel is 19-17. Kevin Gesacion (Boardman HS) had two hits while Kevin Culp (Canfield HS) took the loss.

Waynesburg 17, Bethany 7 -- Top-seeded Waynesburg is 21-14-1. The Bison fell to 14-20.

SOFTBALL

Slippery Rock 11-0, Lock Haven 6-8 -- The Rock is 10-24, 3-15 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division. Lock Haven is 11-19, 5-11.

Hiram 8-1, Ursuline 1-4 -- Hiram is 7-23. Erin Zubal (Ursuline High School graduate) allowed just one run for Ursuline College (6-18-1) in the nightcap.

Westminster 4-5, Allegheny 2-6 -- The Titans are 13-18-1. Westminster's Heidi Kimmel (Poland HS) went 2-for-4 in the first game.
